Background
The Commonwealth of Kentucky is issuing this solicitation for construction services related to the abatement of a previously sealed water supply portal in Perry County. The goal of this contract is to restore the functionality of the water supply for the local community by addressing structural failures in the existing wall.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Remove the old wall that was previously constructed with blocks and mortar.
2. Pour a new concrete footer approximately 1 foot higher than the bottom of the existing human access door.
3. Install a new access door and overflow pipe at this elevated position.
4. Seal the remainder of the opening again with block and mortar to ensure structural integrity and functionality.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period is expected to commence upon award and will be completed by May 13, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at a site located in Perry County, Kentucky.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit their proposals electronically through the Commonwealth’s eProcurement system. All bidders are required to be registered in the Vendor Self Service (VSS) System prior to submission.
