RFB-142-25 L&N Bldg Exterior Upgrades Louisville KY

Background
The Commonwealth of Kentucky's Department for Facilities and Support Services, through the Division of Engineering and Contract Administration, is issuing Invitation to Bid No: RFB-142-25 for the L & N Building Exterior Upgrade.
This project aims to enhance the structural integrity and aesthetic appeal of the L & N Building located at 908 West Broadway, Louisville, Kentucky.

Work Details
The project involves extensive facade repair work including:
- Repointing, repair, and reconstruction of Brick Masonry.
- Replacement of selective steel shelf angles.
- Limestone Masonry work including repointing, crack, and spall repairs.
- Terracotta coating and crack repair.
- Installation of additional roof anchorage points for equipment.
- Add alternates include copper coping cap and supporting sub-structure replacement, along with facade cleaning.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence upon award and is anticipated to be completed within a specified timeframe as outlined in the bid documents.
