Burnam Hall Renovation

Background
Eastern Kentucky University is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the Burnam Hall Renovation. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the complete project as indicated throughout the event and attached specifications. The university reserves the right to award in part or in whole and to award multiple suppliers/contracts if in the best interest of the university.

Work Details
This invitation is for renovation work in Burnam Hall at Eastern Kentucky University’s Richmond Campus. The work includes renovation of Burnam Hall including new interior finishes, mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems as outlined in event CITB-396-2024. The project notes specify mandatory pre-bid conference on 4/9/2024 and questions due by 4/12/2024.
Liquidated damages are outlined as $1000 until substantial completion and $1000 until final completion.
Bid bond, payment, and performance bonds are required.

Period of Performance
Work will begin immediately following an official Award of Contract and Purchase Order from Eastern Kentucky University.
The substantial date for completion is 335 days after the start date stated on the PO, and the final date for completion is 365 days after the start date stated on the PO.

Place of Performance
The renovation work will take place at Eastern Kentucky University’s Richmond Campus.
