Water Softener Installation

Background
The Oswego Correctional Facility, part of the Kansas Department of Corrections, is seeking bids for the installation of a water softener system. This initiative aims to improve the facility's water quality and ensure compliance with operational standards. Work Details
The contractor is required to provide all necessary equipment, materials, and labor for the installation of a salt-based water softener system at the Oswego Correctional Facility. Specific requirements include:

- System must have 1-1/2” connections and be rated to handle 75 psi water pressure.
- The facility will provide a valved piping loop for system installation and a 120-volt, 20-amp powered receptacle.
- Bids must include a detailed breakdown of all expenses including equipment costs, labor costs, travel and lodging expenses, and shipping costs.
- A mandatory pre-bid site visit is required before submitting a bid.
