Background
The Illinois Emergency Management Agency and Office of Homeland Security (IEMA-OHS) is responsible for monitoring nuclear power plants in Illinois. As the existing Remote Monitoring System approaches its end-of-life phase, a migration to the AVEVA PI Data Infrastructure Package is imperative to ensure ongoing and optimal monitoring of these facilities. This contract is intended to maintain the current hardware infrastructure while integrating new software to guarantee effective and efficient solutions.

Work Details
The contract involves a one-time purchase of the AVEVA PI Data Infrastructure Package from AVEVA Software, LLC. The services include:
- Migration from the existing AVEVA eDNA platform to the new AVEVA PI system, which is critical for maintaining capabilities in monitoring nuclear power plants.
- The system must seamlessly integrate with existing hardware and processes.
- The estimated value of the initial term is $1,433,895, with payments scheduled over three years:
- FY25: $455,062.32
- FY26: $477,466.92
- FY27: $501,365.16
- The contract will cover software licenses necessary for the IEMA-OHS Remote Monitoring System (RMS) and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding nuclear safety.

The estimated contract will begin on May 1, 2025, and end on April 30, 2028.
