Background
The Kewanee Life Skills Re-entry Center is seeking bids for the installation of 400-amp electrical service to supply electrical power to a portable welding lab trailer. The contract is a one-time service contract with a term through 6/30/2024. The State may terminate the contract for its convenience with thirty (30) days prior written notice to Vendor.

Work Details
The Vendor shall provide all labor, tools, parts, materials, supplies, and equipment to install 3-phase, 208/120v, 5-wire 400-amp service to portable welding lab. Materials required include new 400-amp breaker, approximately 150 feet of wire in conduit, SC Cam-Lock connection box, disconnect and post, and all other required parts/materials/supplies to complete. The Vendor is responsible for providing all necessary licenses, certifications, permits, and insurance required for completion of this project.
All services provided shall comply with all state, federal, and local codes.
The work shall be completed within 45 days of the agreed start date.

Period of Performance
The Vendor shall start work immediately upon execution of the contract unless another start date is agreed upon between Vendor and Chief Engineer or designee.
