DNR Horseshoe Lake- 3-sided pole building

Background
The Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) is seeking a vendor to construct a new pre-engineered 3-sided pole building at Horseshoe Lake State Fish & Wildlife Area in Alexander County. This project aims to provide storage for equipment used to maintain the facility.

The estimated value of the contract will exceed $50,000, and the initial term will run from the date of the last signature until June 30, 2025, with a maximum total term not exceeding ten years.

Work Details
The vendor will provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to construct a 40' x 60' x 16' tall pre-engineered pole building. The scope includes:
- Installation of a precast concrete column foundation system.
- Erection of a 3-sided metal pole building with gutters and downspouts.
- Installation of two split sliding doors on each end of the structure.

Specific requirements include:
- Building dimensions: 40' wide x 60' long with a clear height of 16'.
- Open south eave side with double sliding doors measuring 10'-6" wide by 15' tall on both gable ends.
- Foundation system must utilize precast concrete columns to prevent rot.
- Vendor must coordinate local building permits and verify existing utilities before construction.
- All work must comply with IDNR specifications and include warranties for workmanship and materials for one year post-acceptance.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon the last signature and continue until June 30, 2025. The total duration, including any renewals or extensions, shall not exceed ten years.
