4 X 2 Truck Chassis

Background
The State of Idaho, through the Department of Transportation and the Division of Purchasing, is seeking bids from qualified vendors for the purchase and delivery of 4 X 2 Truck Chassis. The purpose of this procurement is to acquire three (3) truck chassis that will be utilized for transportation needs, specifically to be upfitted with a guardrail post pounder. The trucks are required to meet specific specifications to ensure they are suitable for the intended use.

Work Details
The contract involves the provision of three (3) 4 X 2 Truck Chassis with the following specifications:

- Type: Conventional regular cab, single axle drive.
- Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR): 33,000 lbs.
- Cab to Axle (CA) Dimension: 102 inches clear frame rails.
- Ground Clearance: Minimum of 12 inches for fuel and exhaust systems.
- Engine: Electronically controlled, turbocharged six-cylinder engine with a minimum of 350 HP and 1000 ft-lb torque.
- Transmission: Allison 2000 or 3000 series automatic transmission with PTO provision.
- Brakes: Air disc brakes on front and rear axles with ABS.
- Delivery Condition: Trucks must be delivered in new condition, cleaned inside and out, and full of diesel fuel.
- Warranty: Includes a base warranty of 24 months for chassis, 36 months for engine and axle components, and additional coverage for corrosion/paint.

Period of Performance
Delivery is expected within 200 calendar days after the award of the contract.

Place of Performance
The delivery location is to be determined but will be specified by the Idaho Transportation Department.
