Honey Creek Resort Hotel Roof Replacement & AHU

Background
The Iowa Department of Administrative Services is issuing a solicitation for the removal and replacement of the asphalt shingle roof and selective EPDM roofing at Honey Creek Resort, located in Moravia, Iowa. The goal of this contract is to ensure the integrity and functionality of the resort's roofing system, which is essential for maintaining the facility's operations and protecting its assets.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:

1. Removal of existing asphalt shingle roof and selective EPDM roofing.

2. Replacement with new asphalt shingles over roofing underlayment, including installation of self-adhering ice and dam protection membrane extending 2 feet beyond the inside face of walls.

3. Installation of new gutters and downspouts as specified in alternates.

4. Coordination with mechanical drawings for removal and installation of HVAC units as necessary.

5. Protection of existing structures during demolition and construction activities.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period starting from the award date until completion, expected to be finalized by March 10, 2025.
