HCR BAS Replacement

Background
The Iowa Department of Administrative Services is issuing a solicitation for the replacement of the Direct Digital Control (DDC) system at Honey Creek Resort, located in Moravia, Iowa.
The project aims to improve the building automation system to enhance operational efficiency and control over various mechanical systems within the resort.

Work Details
The contract includes the following key tasks:
1. Replacement of existing thermostats for air-to-air heat pumps with programmable thermostats and connection to existing systems.
2. Installation of new leaving air temperature sensors, water sensors, and filter differential pressure switches.
3. Removal and replacement of existing DDC controllers with new wiring to integrate existing and new controls.
4. Replacement of four existing motorized dampers located in ductwork, including new actuators and controls.
5. Provision of new controllers for various pool controls including heaters, filters, and temperature sensors.
6. Commissioning of all systems post-installation to ensure proper operation and integration into the existing building automation system.

Period of Performance
The work is scheduled to commence upon contract award and is expected to be completed within a specified timeframe as outlined in the project schedule.
