Background
The City of Des Moines, Iowa, is seeking a qualified contractor to undertake the Gray's Lake Park Sprayground project. Work Details
The contract includes the construction of a new Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) sprayground with an applied rubber coating, PCC sidewalks, playground equipment, site furnishings, landscaping, soil improvements, water service line, water spray features, electrical work, drainage piping, storm sewer installation, subdrain work, earthwork, and surface restoration. - 638 CY of on-site topsoil
- 500 CY of Class 10 excavation
- Various sizes of sanitary sewer services and modifications
- Installation of storm sewers (12-inch and 15-inch RCP)
- Water service installations including copper piping and insulation
- Installation of multiple types of PCC pavement and curbing
- Playground equipment and splash pad equipment
- Landscaping elements including trees and perennials with warranties
- Site furnishings such as benches and tables.
