Provide Compactor and Refuse Hauling Services for the Honolulu Zoo

Background
The Department of Enterprise Services, City & County of Honolulu, Hawaii is seeking to provide compactor and refuse hauling services for the Honolulu Zoo. The goal of this contract is to ensure efficient waste management and disposal services at the zoo, adhering to all applicable laws and regulations.

Work Details
The contractor will furnish all necessary labor, equipment, and transportation required for refuse hauling services at the Honolulu Zoo for a period of sixty (60) months.

The contractor must provide a 30 cubic yard self-contained compactor with specific motor and power requirements. The compactor must be maintained by the contractor, ensuring it does not leak and is operational at all times. The contractor will haul the contents of the compactor weekly on a predetermined day and as needed.

Responsibilities include cleaning the container after each use, maintaining an orderly vicinity around the container, and providing disposal tags for payment verification. The contractor must also repair any damages caused to existing utilities or structures during service.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a sixty (60) month period starting from the commencement date indicated on the City-issued Notice to Proceed.

Services will be performed at the Honolulu Zoo located at 151 Kapahulu Avenue, Honolulu, Hawaii 96815.
