Kikiaola Small Boat Harbor New Boat Ramp

Background
The project involves the construction of a new boat ramp at Kikiaola Small Boat Harbor, Kekaha, Kauai, Hawaii. The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to award a contract for the construction work, including demolition, site work, sheet pile driving, drilled shaft piles, precast concrete panels, floating loading docks, and appurtenant work as per the project plans and specifications.

Work Details
The work includes furnishing and paying for all materials, tools, equipment, labor, and other incidental work necessary to construct the new boat ramp. This includes demolition work as required and in accordance with plans and specifications including removal of rock revetment, boulders, and all materials required for complete installation of sheet piles, drilled shaft piles, and boat ramp including hauling and disposal of construction waste at landfill or appropriate disposal site.
It also involves the placement of replacement precast concrete boat ramp panels, driving sheet piles, construction of new floating aluminum framed loading docks with plastic lumber fenders and fiber reinforced plastic decking.

Period of Performance
The contract requires the completion of all work within 270 consecutive calendar days from the date of written notice to proceed.
