Kauikeaouli Hale - Courtroom Carpet Upgrades

Background
The Judiciary of the State of Hawai‘i is issuing a contract for the Kauikeaouli Hale Courtroom and Judge's Entryway Carpet Upgrades. The project aims to enhance the aesthetic and functional aspects of 18 courtrooms and associated entryways by replacing existing carpets with new tile carpets. This initiative aligns with the Judiciary's mission to maintain a conducive environment for legal proceedings.

Work Details
The work involves the removal and disposal of existing carpets in 18 courtrooms located on the 10th, 8th, 7th, 5th, and 4th floors of Kauikeaouli Hale.

Additionally, new modular carpet tiles will be installed in these courtrooms along with new vinyl cove base. The installation will also cover the Judge's entryway hallways between courtrooms A and B, and C and D on the aforementioned floors. All work must comply with legal requirements regarding disposal and installation.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence in March 2025, with an estimated completion date anticipated to align with project requirements.

The work will be performed at Kauikeaouli Hale, located at 1111 Alakea Street, Honolulu, HI.
