IFB No. 25-0647 Pest Control, Maintenance & Inspection Services

Background
The University of Hawaii Maui College is seeking bids for pest control, maintenance, and inspection services as outlined in IFB No. 25-0647.
The contract aims to ensure a pest-free environment on campus, supporting the college's mission to provide a safe and conducive learning atmosphere.
The services will be performed at various locations within the college in Kahului, Hawaii.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive pest control services including:
1. Establishing a ten-foot barrier around buildings;
2. Interior and exterior treatments of all requested buildings;
3. Treatment for crawling insects, silverfish, ants, scorpions, roaches, centipedes, spiders, and flies;
4. Rodent control through baiting and trapping with responsibilities for disposal of trapped rodents;
5. Monthly reports detailing chemicals used in kitchen areas;
6. Monitoring and maintaining rodent bait stations;
7. Quarterly monitoring of termite bait systems;
8. Optional services as needed outside the scheduled treatments.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract shall begin from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed letter for a period of one year, with options to renew annually for up to five years.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the University of Hawaii Maui College located at 310 Kaahumanu Avenue, Kahului, Hawaii 96732.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have a permanent office location on Maui Island and possess a valid State of Hawaii contractor's license for pest control services.
They must also demonstrate a minimum of five consecutive years of experience in pest control services and comply with all applicable federal and state laws regarding worker compensation and safety.
