EFS - Implementation Readiness Assessment

Background
The State of Hawaii, through its Department of Accounting and General Services, is conducting a readiness assessment to maximize project outcomes for the upcoming Enterprise Financial System (EFS) implementation. This initiative aims to modernize financial management systems by replacing outdated processes and legacy systems with a new ERP solution, enhancing decision-making capabilities and streamlining operations.

Work Details
The Implementation Readiness Assessment will include:

1. **Infrastructure Assessment**: Evaluate the current infrastructure and personnel responsible for operating and maintaining ERP technologies to ensure capacity for integration.

2. **Data Review**: Analyze approximately fifty existing accounting/finance systems, focusing on data quality, risks, gaps, and business intelligence capabilities necessary for migrating data to the new ERP platform.

3. **Integration Analysis**: Assess existing systems for integration capabilities with the new ERP and ensure interoperability with current applications.

4. **Change Management Evaluation**: Review change management strategies and provide recommendations to prepare stakeholders for significant operational changes due to the new ERP system.

Period of Performance
The contract will have an initial term of twelve (12) months from the commencement date on the Notice to Proceed, with potential extensions for up to two additional twelve-month periods upon mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in Hawaii, specifically within the jurisdiction of the State of Hawaii's Department of Accounting and General Services.
