Civic Center Parking Structure Waterproofing Improvements, Project No. VI-05-23-C

Background
The City and County of Honolulu's Department of Design and Construction is issuing this solicitation for the Civic Center Parking Structure Waterproofing Improvements, Project No. VI-05-23-C.

The project aims to enhance the waterproofing of the Civic Center Parking Structure located at 695 S. Beretania Street, Honolulu, Hawaii, with an estimated cost of $33,000,000.00.

Work Details
The contract includes two phases:

Phase 1 involves the demolition of existing structures including the Early Education Center (EEC) and podium level landscaping.

Phase 2 focuses on the replacement/addition of waterproofing systems. Specific tasks include:
1. Phase 1: Demolition of existing EEC; podium level landscaping including trees, planters, lawns, soils; lighting; drains and drain lines.
2. Phase 2: Replacement/addition of waterproofing including removal of existing waterproofing; structural repairs; installation of new soils and landscaping; crack repair with epoxy; spall repair for corroded reinforcement; leveling of ponding areas on structural deck; unforeseen irrigation and drain line rerouting work; removal and disposal of hazardous materials.

Period of Performance
Phase 1 is to be completed within 200 consecutive calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP). Phase 2 is to be completed within 350 consecutive calendar days from its respective NTP.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Civic Center Parking Structure located at 695 S. Beretania Street, Honolulu, Hawaii.
