Central Oahu Agriculture And Food Hub

Background
The Central Oahu Agriculture and Food Hub project involves site improvements and the installation of a sewer lift station. The project is being overseen by the Department of Accounting and General Services in Hawaii. The goal of the contract is to enhance infrastructure and utilities at the site, including access roads, water, sewer, and electrical utilities, as well as onsite drainage improvements, landscaping, and irrigation.

Work Details
The work generally consists of installing new access roads and water, sewer, and electrical utilities that run through the site with connections to Whitmore Avenue. It also includes installation of an onsite sewer lift station with a sewer forcemain connection on Whitmore Avenue, onsite drainage improvements which include new grass swales, and a new bioretention basin, and new landscaping and irrigation. The estimated construction cost is over $10 million.
