Background
This solicitation is being conducted by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) under its authority to procure services ancillary to the construction and maintenance of public roads. The goal of this contract is to provide Pavement Preservation and Maintenance Services in District 7, specifically targeting SR 3 / US 41 in Cobb County. Only contractors deemed as Qualified Contractors through a prequalification process are eligible to participate in this Invitation to Bid (ITB).

Work Details
The contractor will perform Pavement Preservation and Maintenance Services, which include: Crack Sealing on asphalt travel lane sections from MP 12.27 to MP 22.75 on SR 3 / US 41. The contractor must supply all labor, materials, tools, equipment, means of transportation, traffic control, and incidentals necessary for the work.

Specific tasks include:
1. Crack sealing operations must adhere to GDOT specifications including Section 401: Cold Mix Patching, Section 407: Asphalt-Rubber Joint and Crack Seal, and Section 827: Pavement Patching Mastic.
2. The contractor is responsible for traffic control measures during operations.
3. A competent English-speaking Supervisor must be present on-site at all times.
4. Any damaged striping due to crack sealing must be replaced by the contractor.

Period of Performance
Work must begin no later than 30 days after the Prework Meeting and must be completed within 90 days after the Prework Meeting.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed along SR 3 / US 41 in Cobb County, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements
Only contractors with an active Maintenance Master Services Agreement (MMSA) beginning with (48400-410-0000034480) are eligible to bid. Contractors must comply with the Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act and provide necessary affidavits regarding federal work authorization programs. Performance and Payment Bonds equal to 100% of the award price are required from the successful bidder.
