Background
The City of Decatur, Georgia, is seeking proposals for the demolition and site stabilization of a single-story structure known as Kerr Cottage located at 500 South Columbia Drive. The project aims to safely remove the building while ensuring compliance with all applicable environmental regulations, particularly concerning hazardous materials such as lead paint and asbestos.

Work Details
The Scope of Work includes:
- Responsible handling, abatement, and disposal of environmentally hazardous materials on site, including lead paint and asbestos, in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Removal, handling, and disposal of all non-hazardous materials remaining in the structure or on the property.
- Labor and materials required to complete the demolition, transport, and disposal of all built structures, foundations/walls, and hardscapes at the specified address.

All work must comply with attached reports, drawings, specifications, and relevant regulations.

Period of Performance
The work must be completed within 90 days from the Notice to Proceed. The anticipated award date for the contract is March 3, 2025.
