RFQ-484-03082024DB SR316 Bundle 2 Design-Build Project

Background
Georgia Department of Transportation is seeking a Design-Builder to provide design and construction services necessary to remove three existing at-grade intersections along SR 316 and construct two grade separated interchanges at Jimmy Daniell Road and Oconee Connector, and a grade separated overpass at Virgil Langford Road in Oconee County, Georgia.
The project will be awarded to a Design-Build Team utilizing a Two-Phased Best Value selection method. A Design-Build Team includes a Lead Contractor and a Lead Design Consultant working together to design and construct the project.

Work Details
The Design-Build Team, through the Design-Builder under contract with SRTA, will provide the Design-Build services to design and to provide construction services necessary to remove three at-grade crossings along SR 316 and create two grade separated diamond interchanges (roundabout control) at SR 316 / Jimmy Daniell Road (P.I. No. 0013767) and SR 316 / Oconee Connector (P.I. No. 0013769) as well as one grade separation at SR 316 / Virgil Langford Road (P.I. No. 0013768) by utilizing the Design-Build delivery method in Oconee County, Georgia.
