RFP P50565 MARTA On the Go Mobile Application

Background
The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) operates the ninth largest transit system in North America, providing bus, rail, and paratransit services in the greater metropolitan Atlanta area. MARTA transports over 500,000 people daily across the City of Atlanta and the counties of Clayton, DeKalb, and Fulton.

The goal of this contract is to design, develop, test, rollout, operate, and provide maintenance and support for a cloud-hosted mobile application that will enhance MARTA's existing mobile functionalities.

Work Details
MARTA is seeking proposals from firms to create a new mobile application that expands upon the functionalities of the existing app. The new application will serve as a platform for integrating all mobile functionalities at MARTA into a single user experience.

The services required include: design, development, testing, rollout, operation, and ongoing maintenance and support of the application. The contract will be administered by MARTA’s Department of Customer Experience and Technology.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and will continue through the full rollout of the new platform and subsequent maintenance phases as specified in the proposal.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed primarily at MARTA's headquarters located at 2400 Piedmont Road N.E., Atlanta, Georgia 30324-3330.
