The selected firm will be responsible for a variety of services designed to promote Canton as a premier travel destination.
Background
The Canton Tourism Board, in partnership with the City of Canton, Georgia, is seeking proposals from qualified firms to develop and implement a comprehensive tourism marketing strategy. The goal of this contract is to promote Canton as a premier travel destination through various marketing initiatives.

Work Details
The selected firm will be responsible for the following services:

1. Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to understand current tourism trends, visitor demographics, and competitive analysis; identify potential target markets and recommend strategies to attract diverse visitor segments.

2. Brand Development and Management: Review the brand identity for Canton (Explore Canton) to ensure it reflects the city's unique history, culture, and attractions; create brand guidelines for consistent use across all marketing materials.

3. Digital Marketing and Advertising: Design and implement digital marketing campaigns including SEO, SEM, social media advertising, and content marketing; develop social media profiles and engage with audiences on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

4. Content Creation: Review pre-existing video and photo content; provide suggestions for future high-quality content including blog posts, videos, photography, and graphics; develop an editorial calendar for content publication.

5. Public Relations and Media Outreach: Develop a public relations strategy to secure media coverage; organize press trips, write press releases, and cultivate relationships with travel writers and influencers.

6. Event Marketing and Support: Promote local events to increase attendance; provide marketing support for event organizers including promotional materials.

7. Performance Measurement and Reporting: Establish KPIs to measure success; provide quarterly reports detailing campaign performance and ROI.

8. Administrative and Operational: Review current staffing and marketing efforts; evaluate effectiveness and recommend future funding strategies.

Period of Performance
The contract is anticipated to be awarded in October or November of 2024.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in Canton, Georgia.
