RFP 48401-DOT0003111 - ITS Maintenance

Background
The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to qualified firms for Statewide Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Maintenance.
The goal of this contract is to ensure the maintenance, repair, replacement, installation, and management of ITS devices and related infrastructure across the state.
This initiative falls under GDOT's authority to procure services related to public road construction and maintenance as defined in O.C.G.A § 32-1-3, § 32-2-64, and § 32-2-69.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive ITS Maintenance services which include:
1. Maintenance and repair of various ITS devices such as Closed-Circuit Television Cameras (CCTV), Dynamic Message Signs (DMS), Environmental Sensor Stations (ESS), and more.
2. Installation and management of hardware and software systems necessary for the operation of ITS devices.
3. Project management services including reporting, scheduling, and coordination with GDOT.
4. Development and deployment of an ITS Asset Management System (IAMS) that includes functionalities for asset tracking, performance monitoring, service request processing, and reporting capabilities.
5. Compliance with all applicable manuals, standards, guidelines, and procedures throughout the contract duration.

Period of Performance
The contract will be executed over a five-year period on an 'as needed' basis with specific Purchase Orders issued for individual tasks or services as required.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed within the State of Georgia at various roadside locations as well as at GDOT facilities including the Statewide Transportation Management Center located in Atlanta.
