RFP 25-050 PHS Metal Building

Background
The Floyd County Board of Education is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit services from qualified vendors specializing in constructing metal buildings.
The goal of this contract is to provide a metal building at Pepperell High School, supporting the educational mission of the district.

Work Details
The successful bidder will provide all materials and labor for the construction of a clear span metal building with the following specifications:
- Width: 50 ft
- Length: 75 ft
- Height: 12 ft
- One 10 x 10 ft roll-up door (Janus Model 2000)
- Two 3/0 X 7/0 walk doors
- 3” insulation in roof and walls
- Gutters and downspouts
- Concrete slab.
All materials and labor must comply with local codes. The contractor must provide insurance certification for general liability and worker’s compensation, and a bid bond if the total cost exceeds $100,000. A general contractor's license in the State of Georgia is required.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within a timeframe that aligns with the construction schedule set forth by Floyd County Schools.

Place of Performance
The construction will take place at Pepperell High School, located at 3 Dragon Drive, Lindale, GA 30147.
