RFP 25-0021-5 Annual Contract for Translation Services

Background
The Chatham County Board of Commissioners is seeking proposals from qualified companies to provide translation services for the Chatham County Public Information Office (PIO) and other County entities as agreed upon by the PIO. The goal of this contract is to ensure that all residents, including those with limited English proficiency, have equal access to critical County communications and public information.

The contract will be for one year with options for four additional one-year renewals.

Work Details
The selected vendor will provide professional, accurate, and culturally appropriate translation services in Spanish, Korean, Mandarin Chinese, and Vietnamese. The scope of work includes:
- Translation of public notices, press releases, media advisories, rack cards, brochures, signage, video subtitles/scripts, social media copy/graphics, PowerPoint slides, and other written/digital products.
- Turnaround requirements: Non-critical translations must be completed within 24 hours of request; emergency/crisis translations must be completed within 1 hour of request.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and will last for one year with options for four additional one-year terms.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed in Chatham County, Georgia.
