RFP#24-163 - PUMPING and CLEANING OF GREASE TRAPS

Background
The Richmond County Board of Education is seeking proposals for the pumping and cleaning of grease traps. The contract period will be for two full years beginning August 1, 2024, and may be renewed for an additional three one-year periods.

Work Details
The contractor will provide evidence of being an approved grease interceptor pumping company and possessing a current commercial waste transporter permit. The contractor will furnish all plant, labor, equipment, and materials to pump all liquid and sediment from designated Richmond County Schools' grease traps. The contractor will provide a tentative schedule of operations which includes the name of each school and scheduled dates for cleaning prior to beginning each round of pumping.
The contractor will pump designated grease traps according to the time schedule and requirements specified in the RFP.

Period of Performance
The initial contract period will begin in August 2024 and extend through July 31, 2026, with a renewal option for three additional one-year terms at the same terms and conditions.

Place of Performance
The services will be provided at various schools within Richmond County.
