Rfp 2024-013 Uniformed Security Service For The Greystone Amphitheater

Background
The City of Douglasville is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide uniformed security services for the GreyStone Amphitheater located at the Douglasville Town Green.
This outdoor venue accommodates over 3,500 people and features amenities such as a splash pad and event space.
The goal of this contract is to ensure the safety and security of events held at the amphitheater.

Work Details
The contractor will provide approximately 9 hours of uniformed security service per event on specified dates: October 5th, 2024; April 5th, 2025; May 3rd, 2025; June 7th, 2025; September 6th, 2025; and October 11th, 2025.
Services include armed (with valid Georgia Blue card) and/or unarmed security personnel responsible for:
- ingress and egress access control
- roving patrols of interior and exterior areas
- visitor identification verification
- incident reporting
- monitoring intrusion detection systems
- parking lot control
- crowd control
- supporting life safety duties as per post orders approved by the Chief of Police.
The contractor must develop comprehensive Post Orders detailing procedures and responsibilities to be reviewed within thirty days of service commencement.

Period of Performance
The contract term is for a period of three years unless terminated by either party with a ninety-day written notice.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the GreyStone Amphitheater located at Douglasville Town Green, 6840 Church Street, Douglasville, GA 30134.
