Remer Sewer Rehabilitation- Phase 1

Background
The City of Valdosta, Georgia is issuing this solicitation for the Remer Sewer Rehabilitation - Phase 1 project. The goal of this contract is to repair and replace approximately 610 linear feet of sanitary sewer trunkline/main. This work is critical for maintaining the city's wastewater infrastructure and ensuring public health and safety.

Work Details
The work includes:
- Initial condition survey and video records
- Clearing of the work area
- Bypass pumping during construction
- Cleaning of existing 18-inch concrete sewer pipe
- Installation of PVC/HDPE liners within the existing sewer pipe
- Grouting to seal any leaks or voids
- Repairing existing manholes and installing manhole lining
- Implementing erosion and sedimentation control measures
- Permanent grassing/groundcover after construction completion
- All related work necessary to complete the project as specified in the contract documents.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of 120 consecutive calendar days, starting from a date specified in a written Notice to Proceed issued by the City Engineer.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in Valdosta, Georgia, specifically at locations designated by the City Engineer.
