Ready-Mix Concrete (Statewide)

Background
The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is seeking to establish a contract with qualified suppliers for the provision of Ready-Mix Concrete across the state. This initiative is part of GDOT's mission to ensure the maintenance and repair of road and bridge sites throughout Georgia. The contract aims to facilitate both scheduled and emergency repairs, ensuring that GDOT can efficiently manage its infrastructure needs across seven districts.

Work Details
Suppliers are required to provide Ready-Mix Concrete that meets GDOT specifications, sourced from manufacturers on the current Qualified Products List (QPL). The concrete must conform to various sections of the DOT Standard Specifications, including but not limited to:

- Section 500 - Concrete Structures
- Section 504 - Twenty-Four Hour Accelerated Strength Concrete
- Section 600 - Controlled Low Strength Flowable Fill

Suppliers must submit pricing for various types of concrete including Class AAA, Class AA1, Class A, and Flowable Fill. Additionally, suppliers must be prepared to provide admixtures and comply with delivery requirements as specified in the solicitation. All products must be shipped ready for use according to GDOT standards.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract will be five (5) years from the date of award. The Department may extend the contract if necessary to ensure continuous supply until a new contract is awarded.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed statewide across seven districts in Georgia as specified by GDOT.
