Procurement of Maintenance of Way and Operations Support Services

Background
The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) operates the ninth largest transit system in North America, providing bus, rail, and paratransit services in the greater metropolitan Atlanta area.

MARTA transports over 500,000 people daily across the City of Atlanta and the counties of Clayton, DeKalb, and Fulton. The goal of this contract is to procure Maintenance of Way (MOW) and Operations Support Services to enhance MARTA's infrastructure and operational efficiency.

Work Details
MARTA is seeking proposals from firms to provide engineering support services specifically for maintenance of way, train control, and control center projects. The services include:
- Engineering support for MOW initiatives
- Assistance with train control systems
- Support for control center operations
- Compliance with safety and operational standards as outlined in the attached Maintenance of Way and Operations Engineering Support Services Contract.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to continue for a duration specified in the final agreement, typically spanning several months to years depending on project needs.

Place of Performance
The primary location for performance will be at MARTA's headquarters located at 2424 Piedmont Road N.E., Atlanta, Georgia 30324.
