PNA-484-040325 District Traffic Operations Services

Background
The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is issuing a Public Notice of Advertisement (PNA) to inform the consultant community about an upcoming Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for District Traffic Operations Services.

The goal of this contract is to enhance the workload and capacity of existing District staff by providing expertise and assistance in day-to-day operations, aligning with GDOT's mission and goals.

Work Details
The contract will be divided into four regions:
- Contract 1 for Region A (Districts 1 & 6)
- Contract 2 for Region B (Districts 2 & 5)
- Contract 3 for Region C (Districts 3 & 4)
- Contract 4 for Region D (District 7).

Each selected consultant will provide District Traffic Operations Services, which include but are not limited to:
- Traffic Operations Studies
- Traffic Operations Design
- Traffic Analysis
- Traffic Control Systems Analysis
- Utility Coordination
- Hydraulic and Hydrological Studies related to roadways
- Facilities for Bicycles and Pedestrians
- Construction Engineering and Supervision
- Land Surveying
- Engineering Surveying.

The Prime Consultant must be prequalified by GDOT in specific area classes including Traffic Operations Studies and Design.

Period of Performance
The anticipated schedule indicates that the RFQ will be issued on March 3rd, 2025, with statements of qualifications due by April 3rd, 2025.

The exact period of performance for the awarded contracts will be defined in the forthcoming RFQ.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed across various districts within the state of Georgia as specified in the contract regions.
