Parking Lot Repair and Restructuring Services in Commerce, GA

Background
The City of Commerce Recreation Department is seeking qualified contractors to provide repair, sealcoating, and restriping services for the parking lot located at 204 Carson Street, Commerce, GA.
The goal of this contract is to refurbish the damaged areas of the parking lot and improve its overall functionality for public use.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Provide a civic site plan to restructure existing parking spaces, which must be approved by the City before work begins.
2. Repair damaged areas by removing existing asphalt and replacing it, ensuring proper compaction before patching.
3. Clean the surface of the parking lot to remove debris and blemishes prior to sealcoating.
4. Apply blackout paint over any existing striping before sealcoating.
5. Sealcoat the entire parking lot area (approximately 135,257 square feet) before restriping.
6. Mark restructured areas for potential parking spaces and obtain approval from the Recreation Director prior to final striping.

Period of Performance
The work is expected to be completed within 60 days from the Notice to Proceed.

The services will be performed at the City of Commerce Recreation Department located at 204 Carson Street, Commerce, GA 30529.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must provide proof of liability and worker’s compensation insurance before commencing work.
Additionally, they must comply with the Georgia Illegal Immigration Reform and Enforcement Act of 2011 by submitting a Contractor Affidavit verifying participation in the federal work authorization program (E-Verify).
