Background
The Town of Clermont, Georgia, is inviting general contractors to submit bids for the construction of a new Town Hall.
The project aims to provide a modern facility that will serve the administrative needs of the town and enhance community engagement.
The new building will be a single-story structure with a total area of 2,951 square feet, designed to accommodate various town functions.

Work Details
The scope of work includes all site work and construction of the new Town Hall facility.
Specific tasks include:
- Sitework preparation
- Site paving and concrete (including sidewalks)
- Building foundations and slabs (concrete)
- Masonry work (brick, caststone, stone & brick pavers including steel lintels)
- Rough carpentry, finish carpentry, and architectural woodwork (cabinetry)
- Waterproofing and damproofing
- Building insulation (SPF insulation & Rockwool sound insulation)
- Installation of sealants
- Roofing installation (including metal downspouts & flashing)
- Drywall installation and ceiling work (including acoustical ceilings)
- Installation of hollow metal doors and frames, wood doors
- Installation of aluminum windows & transoms, glass & glazing
- Finish hardware installation
- Flooring installation (carpet, resilient floors & base, hard tile)
- Painting and other specialties as per Division 10 requirements
- Plumbing for both site and building
- HVAC systems and controls installation
- Electrical work including fire alarm and data cabling systems.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award notification to the selected contractor and is expected to follow the construction schedule outlined in the bid documents.
The mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for September 26, 2024, with bids due by October 17, 2024.

The contract will be performed at the designated site located in Clermont, Georgia.
