Sealed bids will be received by Mid-State Energy at 200 Dunbar Rd, Byron, GA 31008 until: 1:00 pm, May 15, 2024 for the furnishing of material (other than line pipe), labor, tools, skill, equipment and incidentals for the construction and installation of: A new tap station and approximately 16,000 feet of 12 inch HP Steel gas main installation for the expansion of the high pressure natural gas system to the existing high pressure gas system in Macon at the intersection of Bass Rd and Forsyth Rd. Bids received after the designated time will not be considered. Bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the above address for Mid-State Energy. To be considered, the bid shall include a copy of the Utility Contractors License, appropriate insurance certificate and a summary list of contractor employees showing tasks and expiration dates for Operator Qualification under the current GMA OQ Plan. There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting on Thursday April 11, 2024 at 10:00 at 200 Dunbar Rd, Byron, Georgia 31008. All bid forms must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder, if awarded the Contract, will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. Contract will not be executed until executed Performance Bond and Payment Bond are submitted to Mid-State Energy. Mid-State Energy reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities and re-advertise. If the Contract is to be awarded, Owner will award the Contract to the lowest, responsive and responsible Bidder.
