ITB #25-22 EV Charging Stations for the Clayton County Justice Center

Background
The Clayton County Justice Center is seeking to expand its electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure to support the growing demand for EVs. This initiative aligns with national, state, and local sustainability goals aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions, improving air quality, and promoting energy efficiency.

The project aims to encourage broader adoption of EVs among the Justice Center fleet users, support economic development by attracting environmentally conscious individuals, reduce the carbon footprint of transportation in the community, and enhance regional resilience in alignment with future mobility trends.

Work Details
The contract involves the construction of EV Charging Stations at the Clayton County Justice Center. The successful bidder will be responsible for providing all necessary materials, labor, and equipment as specified in the ITB and its attachments.

The scope includes compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations regarding installation and operation of EV charging stations. Bidders must demonstrate a minimum of three years of experience in similar work and must include a licensed electrician as part of their team.

Period of Performance
All work must be completed within ninety (90) calendar days from the effective date on the Notice to Proceed (NTP).

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Clayton County Justice Center located at 9151 Tara Boulevard, Jonesboro, Georgia 30236.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have a valid business license to operate in Georgia and provide documentation demonstrating authorization to conduct business in the state. They must also submit proof of registration with E-Verify as required by the Illegal Immigration Reform and Enforcement Act.

Additionally, bidders are required to comply with bonding and insurance requirements as outlined in Appendix B of the ITB.
