ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID: Sealed Bids will be received from Bidders by the ***GWINNETT COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION, 53 GWINNETT DRIVE, LAWRENCEVILLE, GEORGIA, 30046, BLDG. -C- CONFERENCE ROOM*** for the furnishing of all labor, materials, and services necessary for the construction of the roof modification project at ***GRAYSON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL*** until 3:00 PM LOCAL TIME, OCTOBER 17, 2024. Bids will be opened publicly and will be read aloud at the time and place stated above. Bids received after the above time is called will not be accepted. No phones will be available.

Background
The Gwinnett County Board of Education is seeking bids for a roofing modification project at Grayson Elementary School.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, and services necessary for the construction of roofing modifications at Grayson Elementary School located at 460 Grayson Parkway, Grayson, Georgia 30017.

The project includes work on Buildings 2030 and 2050. Bidders must submit a Statement of Qualifications and an AIA Document A305 Contractor’s Qualifications Statement prior to receiving bidding documents. The contract will be awarded on a lump sum basis, and successful bidders must provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond equal to 100% of the Contract Sum.

Period of Performance
The construction must be completed by July 21st, 2025. Contractors are required to mobilize within ten (10) days of receiving the Notice to Proceed.
