Fire Station #8 - Site Improvements & Building Renovation

Background
The City of Valdosta is seeking proposals for professional Engineering and Architecture services in support of the Fire Station #8 - Site Improvements and Building Renovation project. The subject property is located at 4434 Forrest Street Extension and is the former location of the Valdosta Church of the Nazarene. The City has purchased this facility with the intent to renovate it to serve as the fire station for this portion of the City of Valdosta's Urban Service Area.

Work Details
The project requires professional Engineering and Architecture services for a range of deliverables including interior and exterior surveys, architectural drawings, construction specifications, site plan documents, engineering reports, client coordination meetings, and detailed design of a stormwater management facility. The proposal evaluation and selection criteria include experience with similar projects, technical approach, past performance, resource availability/workload capacity.

Period of Performance
The proposal packages are due by 5:00 PM, Wednesday, March 27th at the City of Valdosta Engineering Department. The project completion/schedule is an imperative element of this project and will be a considerable factor when selecting a consultant team for award.
