Dellinger Park Softball Field Stadium Seating Fields 1 and 2

Background
The City of Cartersville, Georgia is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Dellinger Park Softball Field Stadium Seating project. This project aims to enhance the facilities at Dellinger Park by providing new permanent bleachers and a press box for softball fields 1 and 2. The goal is to improve spectator seating and overall experience during events held at the park.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following:

1. New permanent bleachers with a total seating capacity of approximately 220 seats across fields 1 and 2, including one press box.

2. Installation of elevated seating behind field 2, referred to as the Spirit bleacher, which will accommodate approximately 46 people, including two wheelchair accessible areas.

3. All necessary hardware for the installation of bleachers and press boxes.

4. Coordination with the on-site general contractor for delivery and installation schedules.

5. Concrete pads will be poured by the City prior to installation, which must be inspected by the contractor to ensure compliance with requirements before proceeding with bleacher installation.

6. The contractor is responsible for obtaining necessary building permits, which will be waived by the City of Cartersville.

7. A warranty period of one year on materials and installation is required.

Period of Performance
The RFP was released on March 18, 2025, with proposals due by April 17, 2025, at 10:00 AM. The work completion date is expected to be coordinated after completion of softball field renovations, with an anticipated start date specified in a written Notice to Proceed.

The work will be performed at Dellinger Park located in Cartersville, Georgia.
