BR-40-2601 - Augusta University Master Plan

Background
The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia (BOR) is soliciting statements of qualifications from firms for professional consulting services related to the Augusta University Master Plan (Project No. BR-40-2601).

Augusta University, founded in 1828, is a comprehensive research university offering over 150 degree programs. It has undergone significant changes since its last master plan in 2015, including a recent agreement with Wellstar Health System. The goal of this contract is to develop a comprehensive master plan that addresses current and future needs of the university's campuses.

Work Details
The selected consultant will provide professional planning consulting services, which include:
- Conducting a limited facility condition assessment report (FCAR) for up to 50 buildings totaling approximately 3 million gross square feet (GSF).
- Analyzing existing data about building systems and site infrastructure.
- Performing site and facility inspections.
- Conducting space inventory and utilization analysis based on internally maintained data.
- Ensuring alignment with the University System of Georgia's Master Plan Guidelines.

The project will also involve stakeholder engagement, deliverables mapping, and integration of critical data sets into the planning process.

Period of Performance
The project contract execution is anticipated in January 2026, with initial engagement expected in February 2026. The target completion date for the project is February 2027.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Augusta University campuses located in Augusta, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements
Firms must submit a statement of qualifications that includes firm history, relevant experience, and personnel qualifications. There are no specific set-aside certifications mentioned; however, minority-owned business enterprises (MBE), woman-owned business enterprises (WBE), and small business enterprises (SBE) are encouraged to participate.
