Asphalt Tack Distributor

Background
The Gordon County Board of Commissioners is seeking sealed written bids from qualified vendors to procure an Asphalt Tack Distributor.
This procurement aligns with the county's mission to maintain and improve public infrastructure through efficient and effective equipment acquisition.

Work Details
The contract involves the provision of an Asphalt Tack Distributor with the following specifications:
- 2025 Kenworth Chassis with a 188” Wheel Base
- Paccar PX-7 Powered Tier 4 Final Engine (280 HP)
- Allison 3500 RDS 6 Speed Automatic Shift Transmission
- 12K lbs Front Steer & 21K lbs Rear Axle with a 5.57/7.60 Ratio
- Power Steering, Air Brakes, Electric Horn, White in Color
- 2,000 Gallon Etnyre Centennial Tank PTO Off Transmission
- 400 GPM Material Handling Pump with a 4-Way Valve
- Power Wash down System with Wand and Hose
- 14’ Total Materials Spray Bar with 1” On/Off Spray Controls; should not exceed 8’ when side sections are folded up; side sections should be 3’ per side
- BT-1 Control Monitor accessible from front or rear of truck
- (2) Flumes & (2) Burners LP with Digital Readout & Thermostatically Controlled Shut Down, Outfire Protection, and Travel Lockout
- 25’ Hand Spray Wand
- Cone Type Strainer with In-line Fill, 20” Manhole
- LED Lights, (2) Wet Storage Boxes, Electric Back-up Alarm, Rear Step Ladder
- Standard Manufacturer's Warranty for One Year or 1,000 Hours.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award notification and is expected to be fulfilled by May 14, 2025.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Gordon County Administration Building located at 201 North Wall Street, Calhoun, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit two sealed original printed proposals and one electronic copy on a USB drive.
They must also provide certification of operating a drug-free workplace in accordance with O.C.G.A. regulations.
Bidders must not be currently debarred from submitting proposals by any agency of the State of Georgia or the federal government.
