ARPA Sewer Replacement

Background
The ARPA Sewer Replacement project is initiated by the City of Adairsville, located in Bartow County, Georgia. This project is part of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and is funded in part by the State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) program. The goal of the contract is to replace existing sewer infrastructure to improve service for residents along Bruce Street and Davis Drive.

Work Details
The project includes all material, labor, and related appurtenances for complete installation of a gravity sewer system as indicated on the construction drawings. Specific tasks include:

- Replacement of approximately 3,040 Linear Feet (LF) of 8” & 10” gravity sewer line via pipe bursting;
- Replacement of 573 LF of 8” gravity sewer with 10” PVC via open cut installation;
- Replacement of 112 LF of 8” gravity sewer with 10” DIP via open cut installation;
- Installation of 9 manholes;
- Approximately 14 service laterals;
- Approximately 10 manhole invert replacements;
- Bypass pumping; and
- Approximately 400 Square Feet (SF) of Asphalt Pavement Repair.

Period of Performance
The time allowed for Substantial Completion from the date of Notice to Proceed is 120 consecutive calendar days. The maximum time for total completion shall not exceed 150 consecutive calendar days from the starting date specified in the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The contract work will be performed in Adairsville, Georgia, specifically serving residents along Bruce Street and Davis Drive.
