Background
The Cherokee County Water & Sewerage Authority is issuing this solicitation for the construction of a water main relocation project as part of the State Route 20 Widening initiative.
The goal of the contract is to ensure the proper installation and relocation of water mains to accommodate road work and improve infrastructure in the area.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, skills, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the construction of the following principal items:
- 21,600 linear feet (LF) of 12-inch Ductile Iron Pipe (DIP) Water Main
- 30,250 LF of 8-inch DIP Water Main
- 650 LF of 6-inch DIP Water Main.
Additionally, the work includes coordinating with road contractors, completing material procurement, installing all proposed water mains and services, and abandoning/removing existing water mains.
The project also requires an initial record drawing survey.

Period of Performance
The maximum time for final completion shall not exceed 1,975 consecutive calendar days from the start date.
This includes a maximum time for substantial completion of 900 calendar days.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed along State Route 20 from SR 369 to the Forsyth County line in Cherokee County, Georgia.
