Background
The City of Peachtree City, located in Fayette County, Georgia, is a suburban area approximately 31 miles south of Atlanta.
With a population of around 38,000 residents, the city is known for its planned community structure and extensive multi-use paths.
The city aims to develop an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan to ensure fair access to its facilities and recreational areas for all community members.

Work Details
The selected consulting firm will be responsible for developing an ADA Transition Plan specifically for City facilities and recreational areas.
The scope of work includes:
- Conducting surveys and assessments of every public facility/building, recreational facility, and park listed in Appendices A and B.
- Completing the Existing Facility Checklist for each facility and noting any deficiencies.
- Assessing accessible routes to each facility/building and documenting any deficiencies.
- Creating a comprehensive report that includes necessary projects for ADA compliance, estimated costs for mitigation, and approximate timeframes for completion.
The report should also align with requirements from the Georgia Department of Transportation.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to include a timeline for project completion as outlined in the proposal.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed within the geographic boundaries of Peachtree City, Georgia.
