25-035 On-Call Plumbing Services

Background
The City of Sandy Springs is inviting bids for on-call plumbing services for its facilities and buildings. The City aims to award fixed-price contracts based on the bids received, encouraging Offerors to submit their best pricing and terms. The contractor must ensure capacity to perform work under this contract despite other obligations and must have a certified master plumber with a valid Class 2 plumbing contractor license on staff throughout the contract term.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, tools, equipment, materials, and supplies required for the maintenance, repair, renovation, installation, or alteration of plumbing systems. Specific services include:

- Renovations and Repairs: Upgrading and fixing existing plumbing infrastructure in city buildings.
- Drain Cleaning: Unclogging and maintaining drainage systems.
- Water Supply Replacements: Installing and replacing water supply lines.
- Sewer and Water Line Installation: Installing new sewer mains and water lines.
- Plumbing Fixtures: Installation and repair of toilets, sinks, faucets, tubs, well pumps, etc.
- Water Heating Systems: Repairing or replacing hot water tanks and water fountains.
- Water Treatment: Installing water softeners and purifiers.

All services must adhere to the latest Georgia State Plumbing Code and applicable local codes. The contractor is responsible for proper disposal of all materials generated during the work.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award with an expected duration as specified in the bid documents. Non-emergency projects must begin within five working days of notification from the City.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various city-owned structures located in Sandy Springs, Georgia.
