25-013 Uniform Rental Service

Background
The City of Flowery Branch, located on Lake Lanier and approximately forty miles from Atlanta, is seeking proposals for a comprehensive Uniform Rental Service. This initiative aims to ensure that employees in the Public Works and Public Utilities Department are consistently equipped with professional, clean, and well-maintained uniforms that enhance safety, comfort, and productivity.

Work Details
The contract will cover the supply, maintenance, cleaning, and replacement of various types of uniforms including high-visibility clothing, work shirts (short sleeve/long sleeve), pants (jean and cargo), outerwear (jackets), and protective footwear (boots). The uniforms must meet safety standards such as ANSI 107/OSHA requirements for high-visibility gear.

The service includes:
- Regular delivery and pickup of uniforms at designated locations (weekly or bi-weekly).
- Professional cleaning and sanitization of uniforms to industry standards.
- Repair services for uniforms at no additional charge.
- Inventory management to track uniforms issued to employees.
- Customization options for department-specific logos and employee name tags.
- Timely replacement of worn or damaged uniforms.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence on July 1, 2025, following the proposal due date of May 27, 2025.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed within the City of Flowery Branch, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements
Proposers must demonstrate their ability to fulfill the contract requirements including providing evidence of insurance coverage as specified. All employees involved in cleaning services must pass a criminal background check. Proposers must also have the capacity to deliver services within the specified time frames and comply with all relevant laws.
