25-011 On-Call Electrical Services

Background
The City of Sandy Springs is seeking bids for on-call electrical services to maintain, repair, renovate, install, or alter electrical systems in its facilities and buildings. The City aims to award fixed price contracts based on the bids received. Sandy Springs is a rapidly growing city in Georgia, recognized for its livability and corporate presence. Work Details
The contractor will provide all necessary labor, tools, equipment, materials, and supplies to perform maintenance, repair, renovations, installations, or alterations of electrical systems including power and related fixtures.

The contractor must ensure that they have a certified master electrician with a class 2 electrical contractor license on staff during the contract term. Emergency work must be initiated within 2-4 hours of notification. Non-emergency projects must commence within five working days after notification. All work must comply with NFPA standards and be completed to the satisfaction of the City. The contractor is also responsible for proper disposal of materials generated during work.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and will continue until the completion of all services as specified in the contract documents.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various facilities and buildings owned by the City of Sandy Springs.
