Tower Light System Replacement Liberty County, Florida

Background
The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) is seeking competitive bids for the replacement of obsolete incandescent tower lighting systems with new Dialight brand lighting systems. This initiative is part of the Florida Forest Service's efforts to enhance safety and compliance with aviation standards for towers located in Liberty County, specifically in Bristol, Florida.

Work Details
The contract requires the delivery, installation, removal, and disposal of existing tower lighting systems. Four (4) new Dialight E1-L864 / L865 Avian Compliant Vigilant LED medium intensity lighting systems must be installed by a Dialight certified installer. The towers requiring the new lighting systems include:

1. Liberty Tower - 250 feet
2. Levy Tower - 325 feet
3. Osceola Tower - 280 feet
4. Desoto Tower - 290 feet

All work must comply with Dialight's specifications outlined in Appendix I of the solicitation document.

Period of Performance
The work is expected to commence upon award and must be completed within a specified timeframe as determined by the Department following the bid evaluation process.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at various tower locations within Liberty County, Bristol, Florida.
