The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Florida Forest Service is seeking sealed bids for the sale of timber. This sale is a fourth-row logger select thinning of approximately 262 acres of 19-year-old slash pine on Four Creeks State Forest (SFI Certified Forest #NSF-SFI-FM-C0245755) in Nassau County, Florida (see attached maps). Timber to be removed includes every fourth row and select trees in the remaining rows in order to reach 65-75 square feet of residual basal area per acre.
