Background
The Florida Department of Corrections (FDC) is seeking to enhance its re-entry programs by purchasing software coding classes and employment services for individuals transitioning from incarceration.
The goal is to provide inmates with the necessary skills and support to secure employment in the tech industry, thereby aiding their reintegration into society.

Work Details
The contract involves providing software coding classes via open enrollment, utilizing a closed network lab software that includes a full-time virtual teacher.
The curriculum consists of 1,500 hours of instruction designed to be self-paced, culminating in a Full Stack Developer Certification upon completion.
Additionally, the services include access to job placement and coaching through Persevere's Share Services Center, as well as opportunities for graduates to apply for positions at Banyan Labs, an external tech company associated with Persevere.

Period of Performance
The contract will be executed over a five (5) year term, totaling 60 months.

Place of Performance
The services will be provided within the Florida Department of Corrections facilities.
